Okay, not really, but I like Smashing Pumpkins.

After lunch I went to our truck to get my granny cart because we are delivering heaps of Christmas presents. I checked myself in the mirror and was horrified to see so many GRAY HAIRS. I know I have a stressful job, but seeing all the gray frightened me. I need to a) dye my hair and b) chill out. See what inner city ministry will do to a woman?!

Gray hair people!

A couple of hours later we were chillin’ in Corona, a Hispanic neighborhood in Queens, and a family gave us something called “panche” this cool tea with fruit. It was yummy.

Then I looked at my cup and noticed it said “New York” and then looked out the window and saw a sign that said “Shea Stadium Parking” and I thought, “Man, I live in NEW. YORK. CITY.”

Today three of us delivered THIRTY Christmas presents in three hours. We rock.

Mark Dever’s suggestions on how to give godly criticism.

1. “Directly, not indirectly”
2. “Seriously, not humorously”
3. “As if it’s important, not casually”
4. “Privately, not publicly”
5. “Out of love for them, not to express your feeling or frustration”
